Pig Races ~ a.k.a. RACIN’ BACON!
This high energy event is filled with pot-bellied laughter! As guests arrive at the event location, they are greeted with a racing program and custom betting card. Guests will have time to flip through the Race-by-Race bios in the program and pick their favorites. The Master of Ceremonies will make announcements that at their leisure, prior to the races beginning, guests may place their bets with the uniformed attendants at the Racin’ Bacon betting windows.
At Race Time, the guests are called over to our custom-made 32 ft long x 18 ft wide rod iron horseshoe shaped Racin’ Bacon track – and it’s off to the races!
The Potbellied Racin’ Bacon Pigs participate in 5 races around the track, which can be done in 45 minutes to one hour. After each race, if the pig that you bet on wins, then you are awarded raffle tickets. Fun audience participation games are done in between the races and additional raffle tickets are awarded. After the races have come to a close, raffle tickets are drawn for fun pig prizes like the movie Babe, a Bacon Nation Cook Book and Pass the Pigs game. FUN!
